Our Team

ADMINISTRATION

Dyan Haughney

Hospital Manager

With over 25 years of experience in the veterinary field, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Small Animal Science and have had the privilege of working in various roles and departments throughout my career. However, it's orthopedic surgery that truly ignites my passion. I find immense fulfillment in helping pets live long, healthy, and happy lives.

Outside of my work, I love staying active and spending quality time with my husband, friends, and my beloved furry companions. Whether it's traveling, playing with my pets, or enjoying the outdoors, I appreciate the balance between my professional and personal life that keeps me inspired and focused.

ANESTHESIA/SURGERY

Ashley

Nursing Supervisor

I have been a veterinary technician for a little over ten years. I have a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from the University of Delaware and an Associate's in Veterinary Technology from Camden County College. I am also an assistant in the hematology lab at Camden County College. In my spare time I really enjoy reading, hiking, traveling the world with my best friend, and working out.

Jenny

Veterinary Technician

Hi, my name is Jenny. I have a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology and have several years of experience running pet loss support groups.  I also am a veterinary technician who graduated from Camden County Veterinary Nursing Program.

Working with hospice families and their pets is a true passion of mine. My experience in this area has provided me with a deep understanding of the emotional bond between humans and animals, and the importance of compassionate care during difficult times.

I love working with pet parents to educate them on how to care for their post-surgical pets at home. I want them to be confident in their ability to provide appropriate home care.

I am also a dedicated pet owner with three special needs dogs, and I actively participate in medical and hospice fostering for a local animal rescue.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my dogs, going out with friends, reading, and watching movies or going to see Broadway shows.

Jolene

Veterinary Technician

Hi, I’m Jolene. I’ve been working as a veterinary technician for the past six years, and my love for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’m passionate about caring for animals, and at home, I’m lucky to share my space with my two pets—a cat and a dog.

Alongside my career in veterinary care, I also own a luxury nail press-on business. I love combining my creativity and attention to detail to create unique, high-quality nail designs. When I’m not working, I enjoy painting, designing nails, and spending time outdoors—whether that’s hiking, watching the sunrise, or relaxing at the beach.

Lis

Veterinary Technician

I’ve always had a passion for helping animals. I’ve volunteered at a wildlife rehabilitation center since 2009 and been in the veterinary field since 2019. Outside of work I enjoy time outdoors, hiking with my dogs, fishing and spending time at the barn with my horse.

Melissa

She has an ambition for becoming a Veterinary Technician Specialist or other veterinary certifications in the future. She has had a love for animals since she was born and followed in her mother’s footsteps of being in the veterinary field.

Melissa has two doggies at home, Bella and Blaze. She also has two horses, who are off the track Thoroughbreds (OTTB’s), “All That’s Wild”~Dancer and “Thirsty Thursday.” In her spare time, Melissa loves to go horseback riding and compete/show the horses competitively.

Debbie

Certified Veterinary Technician

Hi! My name is Debbie.  I have been in the veterinary field for around 22 years.  I obtained my Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology and then went on to obtain a Bachelor's in Criminology and also in Religion from the University of Miami.  I have worked in general practice as well as emergency and critical care.  I am passionate about pain management and look forward to increasing my knowledge within the realm of orthopedics.

When I'm not at work, you'll find me in the baseball stands cheering on my 2 boys and depending on the season, I'm either at a football game or basketball game cheering on my daughter as she cheers for the team.   If there is any free time left over, I enjoy playing pickle ball, traveling to the beach, or just relaxing with my 2 cats and 2 dogs at home.
